Mr. Martin Mbaya, Co-Founder/Advisor - MIT-AITI; Financial Analyst - Harvard

Martin Mbaya is Co-founder/Advisor of the MIT Africa Information Technology Initiative (MIT-AITI) and a Financial Analyst at Harvard. MIT-AITI is a student run organization of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) that promotes development in Africa through education in appropriate information and communication technologies (ICTs). Martin has wide ranging experience in strategic leadership and performance management with a particular focus on mission driven institutions. He holds degrees in engineering from MIT and public policy with a concentration in international trade and finance from Harvard. Martin was a technology consultant for several years and currently works at the intersection of higher education and global finance.
